  1. If you got xenon headlights just pop the bonnet and if you look at each headlight assembly there is some type of switch (usually protected by a plastic flap) where you can adjust the beam.

  11. lol @ thinking this guy is promoting the site. these types of businesses have been around for years. they are generating enough revenue as it is. why would they make someone come onto this site and pretend to be a customer?
  12. Cambelt dont make noises. and its not the fanbelt it's the starter motor. What model GTI do you have is it the 1.8 2.0 or the 1.8T?are u sure belts dont make noises? im pretty sure they do.. my previous car had a weak alternator, and whenever i had the heater and lights on, and i pressed the gas a lil bit, the belts would make a slight screech. in the rain the screeching lasted a good 10 seconds or more.OP is referring to a screeching noise when starting the engine. not during driving.but like gage said, it could be anything. you should get it checked by your local mechanic.im pretty sure its the starter tho.
  13. starter would cost you between 50-75 and the flywheel around 200.
  14. depends on the make and model of your car
  15. The noise is probably caused by the starter trying to engage into the flywheel, there may be some teeth on the flywheel ring gear damaged that won't let the starter engage, the best solution would be to replace the both the starter and the flywheel.

  18. Yea most clubs are 21+ but you do get some clubs that are 18+ but will not serve you alcohol at the bar unless you prove your 21 or older. These clubs are mostly sh*t though. If you're not 21 yet and wanna hit the (good) clubs, get a fake ID from the UK and use it there. Did it some years back and it worked everywhere.
