Hip Hop Samples

I actually prefer when producers have chopped up a sample and made a track from it. That takes far more skill to make it sound effective. 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Premier can chop up a sample and produce a quality piece of hip hop music.

but HH originated from sampling..so why is this shocking? dre and timbz are amongst those whove pretty much used the most sampling even.
i knew someone was gunna say thisbut hip hop has come a long way from 80s and so has technologytheres little excuse for using samples these dayz imo
LMAOsamplin is a technique, its up to the producer, it can never be considered lazy.

I dont get why certain people are crying about things being sampled...What about producers that spend like 5 minutes playing in a chord pattern a bass big drums percussion and sound effects on a keyboardIf sampling is lazy then i guess this is lazy to

Kanye is bait.Bait samples and he doesnt even flip them differently at all.He can still make bangers, but when you hear what Premo, RZA, Pete Rock etc. can do with a sample....Kanyes not seeing any of them at all.
Im not sure if any one'll even see this as its a veeeeery late response, but AT LAST, SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES THE GOOD sh*t! There are too many lazy producers who just add beats to a long sample and take credit because the listeners'll have no idea where it came from. I urge you to listen to Lupe Fiasco's "Kick, Push" (tight beat, but beat is just like the original) and De La Soul's "Much More". Same sample, Much More, has been cut up and rearranged, and is almost unrecognisable. Genius.
