Lenny Jr. Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 Real Madrid have tabled a bid for Chelsea winger Arjen Robben, according to the player's agent.The Spanish giants have been linked all summer with the Holland international and have now made a reported ã13.5million offer.However, whether Real get their man is another story as just last weekend manager Jose Mourinho stated he thought Robben would be staying.Chelsea have little need to raise funds although the summer capture of Florent Malouda from Lyon could well hinder Robben's starting chances.Robben's agent and father Hans has now confirmed Real have bid for his son and that the former PSV Eindhoven ace is interested in a move to El Santiago Bernabeu."I know Real have made a bid to Chelsea for my son," he told the Sun."When you are talking about Real Madrid, it has to be said that it's one of the best clubs in the world."Who wouldn't want to play for Real Madrid? Play him whenever hes fit.He'll stay though, Mourinho said he thought the best Chelsea have played is when Robben and Duff played together, and he wants the same with Robben and Malouda.
