do you have to send all your statements with it where they charged you?
Nah, you could just use the ones you've got but use the 'ESTIMATED' letter template. So, if you've got i.e 12 months of statements & u can't be asked to wait for them to send you the last 6 years & go through it, HIGHLIGHT THE CHARGES IF YOU WANT. I didn't cause they'll be able to see how much they've charged you won't tell you.Get the charges for that 12 months.Multiply it by 5 & that will give a estimate amount. That may work in your favour as chances are you'll over estimate. They'll holla back, it's up to you how you respond. They may offer you the amount or less etc

Being charged in the first place = waste.
your right. Like i said I was rubbish with my loot when I was younger. but getting money back that i thought I had lost forever is sweet. dunno about you lot but i dont mind writing a few letters to get ã200. we aint all right like you and L
What Streets said AND ALSO. biggrin.gif Gray, you think banks only charge ppl that mis manage their finances?Of course not, mistakes happen, money doesn't go in at the right time & direct debts come out or a unexpected expense pops up etc etcIf it hasn't happened to you GOOD FOR YOU.Nothing waste about getting charged intentionally or unintentionally

I did it time ago when I first heard about it.Goddaz done it ã2100 I got itGoddaz done it ã320 I got itLOL @ the ppl that can't be asked. These are the same ppl that won't have it if u get robbed on road but coz a bank does it they can't be bothered.FAO: Streets, I still going thru mine with Capital 1. After that, I'm switching squares coz they sh*t. Just as well coz I hardly use their card.
Capital 1 try take liberties. They actually owe me ã400 but that was their first offer. That account was closed in like late 2003 I only remembered it cos they sent me a letter out of the blue asking for "their" money back.writing some letters + waiting a few weeks = extra cash

What exactly is this scam? PM me still.
biggrin.gif It's called bank charges you for being overdrawn and you get your money back.
exactlyits no scam.i cant remember the exact story but basicallyit was ruled that the banks had been charging people an unreasonably high fee for exceeding their overdraft limitso basically people write to the bank demanding the money back, threatening legal action if they dont get itthe banks know they will loose in court so they give you the moneyits fully legit and unfortunately you can only do it if youve been charged

Guest The Operative.
Just heard a 15 year old got ã18,000 from A/Cs. Obviously certain people get cuts, but that is a serious amount of money.
biggrin.gif (I just clocked)But he was the scapegoat. He's the one that will go pen, and he has also never seen the guy who actually put in the money to his account. And at the end of the day he's only getting 4 grand out of it.I told you find a scapegoat and i'll bring you in. And if u know who i am do not say my name on net.

I've learnt this rule: Always be the middle man, never the end man. End man always gets f*cked.

I don't know who you are still, it's hard to find a scapegoat plus I've got my links into it.
