If you are a citizen of this country and regard it as home and most of all if you support the England football team then you should be regarded as English as anyone else, if you regard yourself as English. I think we should be more patriotic, but not to the extent of the Yanks. The yanks that come to my uni on their exchange programs defend US to the MAX. Whatever it is they are the best: Football, the Dollar, Drinking, Education etc. They are brainwashed.The UK is patriotic to a small extent.
