Quick question about Driving Licenses

My full driving license just came in teh post. However, I was checking the dates, and it's saying it's valid to 6th June 2015. This can't be right can it? Especially when there's a date on the back which says from 9th August 2007 (the date I passed my test) until 2nd June 2057.Someone clear this up. Do I just have to renew it when it hits 2015?

On average how many lessons have people had before they passed?Im starting to take mine so i been researching, all my mates have said that they have passed with 20 to 30 lessons, I know some driving schools make you have 40 as standard.

I thot 2057 is the year you will have to take a retest for your licence.

I'll be 70 something. I shouldn't be allowed to drive at that age.

Thats why you'll need to retest.Cos theres been too many 70+ coming down the wrong lane of the motorway.

Provisional driving licence with the paperworkPassport and any other ID cardPassed mine got 33/35.. Revised for 3 days as well Gonna start lessons next monthHopefully be driving by next year

70+ driving well is in the major minority.You'll know this when you are in a hurry and youre stuck behind a Doris.
