Come on, even you know this is a silly questionIf they speak with an American accent in everyday life because they are American, then of course they are 'excused', since that's their true and natural toneIf they speak with an American accent on a daily because they're born and raised English people that are putting it on, then of course it doesn't, because they're not even truly representing themselves and their upbringing in everyday life, and are even bigger masqueraders than guys who do it while rapping.

i cant stand uk rappers who rap in an american accent! but uk singers who sing in an american accent is ok, cus its bearable. but alot of singers u cant really define there accents when they sing anyway!

American and English accents are both somewhat neutralised while singing which is why rapping in a US accent is much much worse, you have to actually try and put it on which isnt the case so much in singing
