Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is supposedly looking to sign Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano from his former club Sevilla this Summer after missing out on Samuel Eto'o according to reports in the Daily Mirror today. The 27 year old joined Sevilla in 2005 from Porto for a fee of around €10 million and it has proved a very successful move for the Brazilian international as he has averaged more than a goal every two games for the Spanish outfit. The striker has been strongly linked with Man United in recent weeks, however it appears now as though Fabiano's former boss is now also interseted in signing him... again. It is thought that he is valued at about £15 million.
Spurs manager, Juande Ramos, is combing his native country Spain for possible transfer targets. It appears that the club have set their sights on Espanyol centre-half Marc Torrejon, 22.The £5million-rated Spanish Under-21 star is also a team-mate of fellow defender Daniel Jarque, a player that also been linked with Spurs.Ramos is keen on another centre-half because of doubts surrounding the fitness of skipper Ledley King, and the inconsistent form of both Younes Kaboul and Michael Dawson.Blackburn have also shown interest in Torrejon, with Blackburn manager, Mark Hughes, attending Epanyol’s last game of the season to study the player further.

lmao @ no one willing to pay £30 mil for him.f*ck it, give the guy 70k+Its a f*ck*ng disgrace that hes wages are nearer to Ghalys than bents.Think hes on 22k. Wowzar!!
Im sure Berbatov, along with Woody is the only player that tops our wage cap at £47k.Think Woody is on £56k.And Dimi is on £54k.If he is indeed on 22k, wow, just f*ckin wow. From what Danchev is going by now, we are in for a longer summer, im sure he woulda gone Milan if they had got CL, but that seems to have f*cked the bid from them lot.If he stays. GREAT. If he goes, goes a legend and i wont begrudge him at all. What i dont want is this saga going on into late July/early August. We cant have this f*ck up our pre season.

Dimitar is still on his original contract when we signed him, which was around 20k mark. Remember, when we pay alot of money on a player, we are usually tight on the wages aspect. He weren't THAT well known either. Unless he might of bumped it a bit along the way, he's not that well paid tbh. Even under 50k for a world class player whos arguebly top 5 in the world in the position that he plays in, its just not good enough imoHe will only move to an Elite club where he desrves, if not, hes staying with us. Will be over the moon still

Spurs still in the hunt for Turkish wonderkidSPURS are in a three-way fight with Premier League rivals Newcastle and Middlesbrough to land highly-rated Turkish starlet Arda Turan, according to reports. The 21-year-old midfielder has burst onto the scene in his homeland, scoring seven goals to help Galatasaray win the league title this season, and winning 16 senior international caps.Turan's skillful style of play has seen him likened to Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi.Newcastle are said to be favourites to snap up the youngster and are keen to get the deal done before Euro 2008 starts. However, the Magpies are believed to be baulking at the £13 million asking price, which may leave the door open for Spurs to swoop in with a bid of their own.

Guest Cousin Of Sleep

Big big fan of Berba, absolute class player, hope he doesn't leave, would be interesting to see how tottenham to next season.Having said that, I gotta warn against the influx of foreign players...dont want too many in your team, absolutely no loyalty there, and that isn't what you need.

Doesn't really affect us, our whole backline will be British, still have Jenas and Hudds with Lennon and Keano. The rest must be foriegn imo, otherwise there ain't alot of players that can make the difference in our side anymore thats homegrown.
