His subject matters and how he constructs his lyrics can be quite difficult for some to understand.Thats exactly what I meant Y.M.Lil wayne is like any punchline rapper, he will make some punchlines/songs that occasionally go over some peoples heads and make them think whoa. But lupe has that with his concepts, imagination, rather than JUST punchlines, it takes a smart person to understand lupe, whereas it takes a "dumb" person not to understand wayne.Lupe is a victim of h is own hype. Somewhat like Illmatic. SOmethign so hyped up by evreryone, it will inevitbly fall short of their expectations.If anyone still needs examples of lupe's skill ill be happy to provide..Having said that, I DO find him hard to listen to sometimes..he needs to get the balance right between concepts+making songs that arent borign to listen to..Hmm..You know what, Lupe IS sick...but I don't think he's all that complex......I think the average listener would struggle more trying to understand him when he name drops obscure brands and japanese cultures, which he does a lot.But Wayne is just sh*t.
