sound like he's scared of being hurt, either that or he's afraid of commitmenti like that lyric "your arms around me will let me go some day, so i'd rather leave with them holding on than pushing me away"anyway, i personally have been scared of getting hurt since i got burnt in my first relationship.. i can see where he's coming from.i think guys suffer from this a lot more than girls though. imo women talk to their friends about their problems more, so it's easier for them to get over a breakup and move on from it.. men like to suffer in silence, they would just prefer to avoid relationships altogether so as not be in that situation again

Wudnt call him a pussy for it stillmaybe if hes been heart broken before he ight nto be on the relationshipor he just feels the girl isnt as deep in there emotionally as him
