Everone buys these. cheap and decentwanna spend a bit more.. acoustic energy aego m.I know its 2008 but use Ebay, one dude owns an audio shop on there allows you to "haggle" the price. usually shifts em for 50-60 (rrp 100)You will not be disappointed

yeah look about though. If you look on avforums them man know the seller shotting for 50-60Speakers are actually sick. I didn't rate em or see the hype then I saw m bredrins ones and was converted

If your gonna get speakers, look out for the RMS measured in watts and frequency response (get something that plays as low as 18Hz)decibels should be 96db, but anything higher would be an advantage but u have a high risk of killing your ears at loud volumesand if you haven't already done so, upgrade your soundcard

wow, aint every tunes frequencies rolled off at about 40 anyway?

My speakers are going on daft aswell keep cutting out. http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype....x=0&go.y=0 cheapo ones from play.com will do me. Got my techniks Hi Fi here for music that is just gathering dust and never gets used.

40khz - 18 hz will generally mean any frequency within that band in the music will be amplified, anything out of them bands should be directed to a tweeters (anything below the 18 hz) or sub (anything higher than 40khz)
