I'm applying for a job that is literally at the end of my road, about a 90 second walk.do you think it is nessacary/appropriate to mention this in the cover letter?
No cos if ya ever late for work you can't blame public transport/looking for a parking space ever!

If your employers hadn't of noticed from your address that you loved that close, they are not the sort of people I would want to work for.

Yes, because it will enhance your chances of getting the job.The other two saying no are presuming you've got it already and therefore thinking about excuses for lateness when it could be completely irrelevant.
i dont understand how it makes a diffrence to the employer if u live close, depending wat the job, surely its just convenient for youare they gunna be like woah u only have to get up five minutes b4 work, sick ure hiredjust wondering is all im not looking for a fight

Punctuality should be ensured if you live within a stones throw of your work place. It's obviously important to a company. I'll put it another way; it's not going to hinder your chances of getting the job is it?
