Ivorian duo in contention for Old Trafford tieKolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue are in contention for Saturday's FA Cup tie at Manchester United. The Ivorian duo returned from the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday and are due to report for training today. Neither Toure or Eboue played in their country's final game in Ghana, the third and fourth place play-off against the hosts on Saturday, but they could feature at Old Trafford.Arsène Wenger admitted before the Blackburn game that he was down to the "bare bones" thanks to injuries and international commitments. Manuel Almunia, Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosicky, Robin van Persie, Denilson and Johan Djourou were all sidelined for Arsenalâs 2-0 victory but Rosicky could return at the weekend."Kolo and Eboue came back today [Monday] so we hope to see them tomorrow to see if they're not injured," said Wenger at his post-match press conference."Rosicky, he looks better. Van Persie looks better, but he is still a few weeks away. But Rosicky maybe has a little chance for Saturday."Arsenal.com will bring you the latest injury news on Thursday afternoon.

I was hoping RVP would be back for the Milan game but I guess not.Going on form, we look like we have a good chance of winning this game, Utd haven't looked impressive in their last two games but we know they'll up their game for this.A psychological edge could be gained here if both teams really want it. Im not sure how bad Wenger wants this cup tho, it could prove to be too much of a distraction from the title & our squad is thin at the moment.

With the Champions League around the corner and a Premier League title to fight for, some might expect Saturday's FA Cup tie between Manchester United and Arsenal to lack its usual intensity.Abou Diaby disagrees. The French midfielder expects both sides to give it everything at Old Trafford and believes that the winner of the Fifth Round tie could have a psychological advantage when the title rivals go head to head at the same venue in April."I think we want to play well in every competition whether it's the FA Cup, the Champions League or the League," Diaby told Arsenal TV Online. "We want to win all of them because we are a big club and we want to win trophies. This Saturday is very important to us."Maybe a win will give us a psychological advantage. We just want to give our best and win the game."Unfortunately, Diaby will not get a chance to make his mark in the FA Cup this weekend. The 21-year-old suffered a calf injury against Manchester City at the start of February."I took a kick around the ankle against Manchester City and my calf felt very stiff," explained Diaby. "I wonât make the match against Manchester United, but I hope to be back as soon as I can."

Arsène Wenger may have lost two, even three, more players for the FA Cup Fifth Round tie at Manchester United on Saturday but at least he will be able to call on Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue once again. The two Ivorians are back from the Africa Cup of Nations and will be drafted into the squad for Old Trafford. However Gael Clichy (hamstring) and Bacary Sagna (personal reasons) are highly likely to miss out while Philippe Senderos (thigh/knee) can be considered doubtful. If all three are missing then the list of Arsenal absentees will have reached double figures."Nobody is coming back from Monday night," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. "Basically we have the same squad plus Toure and Eboue."But we do have some problems. Clichy might be out for the weekend. He has a knee problem and a tight hamstring. The knee is not really stopping him playing but the hamstring is."We have Sagna out for personal reasons unfortunately. Any others are question marks. For example Philippe Senderos has not practiced all week because of a thigh and a knee problem."Theo Walcott was a late drop-out for the Blackburn game and will be missing once more at the weekend. It is rough luck on the 18-year-old as he would have featured in both matches."Theo was down to play on Monday but he had a thigh problem," said Wenger. "He will be short for Saturday again and I wanted to play him there."All this begs the question of which type of side the Frenchman will field at Old Trafford, especially as Arsenal entertain AC Milan at Emirates next Wednesday."It will be as strong as possible so we have a good chance to win the game without putting the rest of the season into jeopardy by risking injuries," he said."But I will have a busy night thinking about what I'll do and how I will do it."For the record the full injury list is: Johan Djourou (groin), Robin van Persie (thigh), Abou Diaby (calf), Manuel Almunia (sick), Denilson (hamstring), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Walcott (thigh), Clichy (hamstring), Sagna (personal reasons) and Senderos (knee/thigh).

What makes this season even more impressive, is how we have been able to cope with the injuries this year in comparison to the previous 3 (in fairness we harldy had any injuries the 49 games), i thought there would be no way we would cope without RVP this season, but everyone has really stepped up dere game this season. We will get everyone back just at the right moment for the final few games of the season. This a big week for us with this game and then Milan, may make or break our season.

postive movements there!the only position i think we would be weak in would be left back. so far this season Clicjy has been outstanding. He could of kept ronaldo quiet.Still i think even tho he is young traore could still step up n prove himself. Im not a great fan of hoyte...yet.eboue at right back would be great. rekon he will play rosisky rite mid, cesc in the middle wit flamini n hleb on the left.

I'd pick: ---Lehmann--Eboue-Toure-Gallas-HoyteHleb-Cesc-Flam-Song ----Dudu--Ade-----
Song left wing?LMAO
Desperate times...He's got a good passing range & I saw him whip in some good crosses from the left in the ACN. It would be as a LM not a LW.Also his defensive abilities would come in handy in helping Hoyte contain Ronaldo & when we attack Dudu could drift out wide If needed.

Wenger (rightly so) will play 4-5-1 with Ade up top on his J's and Dudu on the left.
