Some people will do anything for money regardless if they think it will have a greater impact in a bad way in time to come. Dont forget you will have people who want to serve the elites as they think they are part of some greater group but all they are is supreme boot lickers.

I think hes shite too but music is his hustle obviously he aint making the money he needs to support the lifestyle he wants to live so hes gonna do them sell-out movements.Nobody on this forum on the money Lethal is on would turn down that offer. Its like vanilla "that guy" back in the day he used to be a serious rapper opening for chuck d then a record label put 1.5 million dollars in his face to do the tracks they wanted and before you know it hes bingo flipping across your tv screen.My point is everybody would do the same thing for money.

ye his music isnt even good enough to download let alone buy lol.man would have to PAY ME to listen to jizzy.on a serious note, fair enough he has to "do what he has to do" for money to survive, but that wont change listners prefrences, they aint gona suddenly sympathise with him and sumhow convince themselves his music is better than it is, music is just that, music....and what sounds good to the ear is what will get support...see this is the whole issue wid grime, not enough big independant core labels to market the artists right and generate enough money, so the top artists aim for commercial labels that market them all wrong and hollow out what they were in the first place, indirectly deading grime as a genre....but thats a whole nex arguement.selling out will obviously alienate his original fans, and in relation to this tfl thing, that is the reason why him as a symbol means nothing to these youts and wont influence them in the slightest, it might aswell have been any random artist, because his "music" isnt popular with the crowd the add is targeting....more to the point, this add wont actually change anything, kids r still gna bunk train/bus fares n oysters, etc...they have done for years n its nt gna change now cos jizzy tissue says so lol.

yeabut if people dont know about ur music, people wont listenpeople see commercialisation as a bad thing, but gettin ur name to a wider audience could help, say if a person in rural Cumbria or sutin may liek grime but doesnt have the net or pirate radio or sutinthen turn on their TV n see an advert with some grime on it, they go into "town" (lol its funny when they say that) n get a CD or sutinand so on and so forth, so off that u get more fans that may have otherwise may not have known of ubut its a double edged sword coz the early fans begin to hate u for some reason

the more fans stuff is a good point, but i swear down that could be achieved without the expense of taking out the nature of the music...they call it grime commercially, but it doesnt sound like grime at all, and its tunes like that that weaken the genre as a whole on what it is structurally.you could get a wider fanbase wid, raves, vinyl and mix cds of quality music, all promoted through good promotions nationally and strong labels with national links to support the artists....but the fact that there are hardly any raves, not much vinyl sales, loads of bootleggers, its not suprising there isnt any strong independant lablels...why do u fink a year or 2 ago the whole "boybetterknow" and "eskibeat recordings" started, to make these independant labels...but there struggling cos their isnt enough money going in for them to do something on a big enough scale.
