the storyline in Amelie has given me more then most films put together, i can't remember the last time my mind was fed this way. Her character is amazing and it breaks my heart i don't know her. The soundtrack was f*ck*ng amazing, Yann Tiersan. From start to finnish that has got to be one of the best films i have ever seen. gonna watch again.
Is this film french? The way you man are hyping i feel to give it a look... but last french film i watched (love me if you dare) put me off watching french films... god awful movie imo

I agree with the above evaluation of 500 days of summer, i regarded bay's taste highly but after this film i will take his film hypes with a pinch of saltlools
lolcome on manSPOILER ALERTu cant expect Tom to be left alone... after all, most rom coms are 'feel good' films aswell ... there was a SLIGHT chance that it wudnt happen when Autumn said 'im meeting someone'...Plus at the beginning of the movie they showed the 488th day and u see the ring on Summers finger, this i thought that Tom n Summer are married now, if u noticed it too, then u mustve had a thought that everything was guna work out when they were arguing etc...END OF SPOILERWatch (i think for the sake of the ending) Definitely Maybeand Paris Je t'aime...the 'sequel' to it 'New York I Love You' is coming soon aswell.OH and get the Vice issue this month. its a FIlm issue, bare interviews from the likes of Michael Winner, Lars von trier, Terry gilliam etc... never knew Michael Winner is such a G.
I've Bin Waiting for new york i love you for like 2 years now... I hope its f*ck*ng good now

I agree with everything said about Amelie, also there's the famous quote she says in the video store I think it is but the thing that gets me is how people (critics and general film watchers) put it up there with Shawshank Redemption etc. in there top 15 films of all time.

Ain't picked up Vice in over a year, it got SO sh*t when Gavin McInnes jumped ship. Even before that it was in decline, I've just given up on it.Best film magazine out now is Little White Lies, get up on it.Gonna (finally) go & see 500 Days of Summer tomorrow I think, I'm looking forward to it. I liked Amelie, but it's kinda aimed at "quirky" girls. Nice little feelgood film, but it is a bit overrated IMO. Audrey Tautou is just great though, I could watch her all day, in anything.

Aside from “sneaker culture” one of the most homo and expensive trends you can align yourself with while at uni is the trendy fixed-gear bike cult. You spend hours on forums, and eBay searching for the parts to make your dream bike. Then you lock it up outside a pub full of other bike pervs so they can dribble at it while everybody else in the world laughs and kicks it.

As normal I like to avoid all the hype of big releases and watch them some time after. So I have Inglorious Basterds on in the background now, having read reviews and heard them I'm going to wait and decide on how this turns out. I like Tarantino as a director. Also downloaded "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" Yup the Pixar animation film not sure how many people on here will watch it but I expect a few laughs."The Watchman" I have tried to watch but my XBox some reason has cut it off 20 minutes in, now it looks like the dvd player the surround sound come with is next option.Che 1+2 I am yet to watch properly so I can't give a fair verdict.Looking to get a few foreign films, "Mesrine" seems to be the one at the moment, part 2 will be coming soon. Anyone got any in mind that have come out this year and got rave reviews?

Went to see 500 Days Of Summer last night.I really liked it. Admittedly there were a few bits that I kinda plainfaced, but for so much of it I just had a huge grin on my face.Thoroughly enjoyed it.
