I don't follow Twitter myself, I saw the roundups on a blog. Comments from the Shaqtus are always memorable though, what was he broadcastingThe draft is at MSG.. if you can't get inside then locate one of the sports bars around the arena, which will be packed with Knicks fans who will riot and destroy Manhattan when Donnie Walsh inevitably wastes their pickI'm interested to see what Boston would have to give up to get Thabeet. Memphis/OKC would be utterly insane to pass on him without getting immense value in return.... but then Memphis gave away Pau Gasol for scraps and a sack of corn, so they have questionable decision-making in this areaAnd if Tyler Hansbrough drops that low and Chicago don't snap him up then I will be severely disappointed

Vince hasn't been Vinsanity for a good few years tbh.. but even at 32 he's a sick addition who's capable of 20, 5 and 5... and Orlando only had to give up a rookie SG and their backup PG. Nice bit of business. Even with Turkoglu seemingly out of the door, a core of Jammer, Vince, Shard & Deebo is a scary prospect. Unsure what Jersey plan to do with Rafer, since Devin looks to be their PG for the next decade or soSocial I don't know of any sites that specialise in that kind of thing, but I do stumble across gems on Youtube occasionally while looking up compilations, highlights etcPar example I was showing Jubez this a few weeks back.. the 1987 All-Star game in its entirety (aka the greatest all-star game ever)Bird and Magic at the absolute peak of their powers, running with veteran legends like Kareem, Moses and Dr J. Isiah, Worthy, McHale, Laimbeer, Parish, Dominique in their primes. MJ, Hakeem and Barkley all exploding onto the scene. It's like some video game's 'all-time greats' mode. Stockton and Malone, Ewing, Clyde Drexler, Joe Dumars didn't even make the squads. JEEZ. The most talent ever assembled on one basketball court? Ignore the commentator who is aggressively pushing his own fatally-flawed categorisation system for basketball playersAnd watch for Det Schrempf in the crowd, existing as he does as the entire decade of the 1980s, distilled into one man

I guess the draft got eclipsed by other news last nightQ did you manage to get into MSG in the end?Shaq said condolences to MJ's family and congratulations to the kids and their families
Didnt even make it to MSG, the night MJ died Brooklyn was live. How i just land and see Artest has joined Lakers.
Bryant, who'd gotten into numerous trash-talking on-court spats with Artest over the last couple of seasons, sent Artest numerous texts since the start of the negotiating period Wednesday morning. Hall of Fame great Magic Johnson called Artest on Wednesday as well. And Artest had lunch this afternoon with Lakers majority owner Jerry Buss.
They went in to get him. Hmm have to agree with Jubez, good signing hopefully Phil stays another year. NBA is gonna be sick next season.

Great pickup for the Lakers. Ron is questionably-reliable, and I have reservations about potential personality clashes, but he's a beast and will bring a lot to that team. sh*t is smelling fishy though, boy... Summer 07: Kobe (NBA's biggest star) demands a trade out of Los Angeles (NBA's biggest market) due to inept management and an irreversibly shitty team... now, they have a team of all-stars, are pulling blockbuster Finals ratings, and gave up practically nothing for it, such dazzling managerial prowess... wha gwan David Stern <_< Yao says he wants to stay in Houston, so I can't see him leaving unless his government overseers have other plans for himTurkoglu has gone to the Raptors, they are fast becoming the new Utah ttkkStill waiting to see where some other potentially key FAs land too... Odom is probably staying with the Kobsters, but Iverson is up in the air (Charlotte?), Sheed, McDyess, Shawn Marion, Drew Gooden, Leon Powe, Chris Anderson, Mike Bibby, Von Wafer.. some teams must be willing to take gambles in response to the Cavs, Magic and Lakers strengthening. And I'm sure Lebron is pushing Cleveland to sign someone else as well... Shaq alone probably won't get them over the humpRicky Rubio is still in a "will he-won't he" saga about whether he'll actually end up on the Timberwolves, or even come to the NBA at all. And of course there's the possibility of NBA players heading to Europe, especially if lots of teams are being stingy with contracts in preparation for 2010

Wallace has gone to Celtics.

For Rasheed Wallace, the lure of playing with Boston's superstar-laden lineup was just too much to pass up.The Celtics have reached an agreement with Wallace on a two-year deal for the mid-level exception, which was $5.585 million last season and is expected to rise for the 2009-10 season. Figures for all salary cap exceptions and the cap itself will be finalized this week after the league and the Players' Association complete their audit of league finances.Wallace played the last six seasons with the Detroit Pistons, where he won an NBA championship in 2004. He heads to a Celtics team loaded with veterans such as Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, and hoping to make at least one more title run.Wallace was in the process of scheduling visits to San Antonio, Orlando and Dallas this week. But the Celtics' team recruiting, with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, coach Doc Rivers, general manager Danny Ainge and majority owner Wyc Grousbeck all coming to visit Wallace in the Detroit suburbs last week moved the 35-year-old into action sooner than expected. The notion of playing with three All-Stars, including a certain Hall of Famer in Garnett and a possible one in Pierce, plus the opportunity to compete for a championship solidified Wallace's desire to play for the Celtics."He decided to forgo the other trips and stuff and decided he's going to Boston," Wallace's agent, Bill Strickland said late Sunday evening. "When he sat down and thought about it some over this weekend, he thought Boston, in his mind, was the best fit for him, in terms of his skill set and what they already had. He decided, 'why waste time? I don't have to hassle over it.'"Wallace has averaged 15 points and 6.9 rebounds in 14 NBA seasons. He averaged 12 points and 7.4 rebounds last season.
