regardless of what he's actually daying, he's communicating the message that it doesn't make sense to vote until the perfect movement comes about that suits you

 

last time many people who are served best by Labour (as opposed to Conservative), voted elsewhere in protest to the existing government, and that gave the Conservatives the win

 

while it would be nice if there existed more than 2 viable parties to control the country, its not a reality, and any hope of Lib Dems rising to become that has been destroyed by their continuous conceding to Conservative demands over the last 4 years
