Inviting nine artists from all over the UK to spit bars and create drum loops; the maestro journeyed through sound to create nine harmonious tracks for the final 28-minute mix. Brendon, Toddla T and Star One The final mixtape is a firing hot melting pot catering for the bass junkies, tech house heads and those who love to drop it low to modern R’n’B. Opening with Sufferer, created by Sheffield duo Bare Traina on the first day. The tune is a banging soca inspired bass bullet featuring MC Trigganom's ragga styling, Toddla effortlessly blends from soca electro into London based Lukey’s deep resonating subs. T then previews his love for the Amen break with a jungle grime joint featuring rambunctious Bristolian MC Buggsy, who spits bars before the mix flips into a funky joint by Manc’ brothers Star One. Toddla rides the riddim into a tech house tune created by Clouds (Numbers) before introducing Ms.Nicole’s beautiful soul vocals that ride over a cranking snare and minimal bass line. From Ms.Nicole to Mele, who worked with Toddla on an electro beat that flows into a tune featuring talented Glasgow based lyricist Kobi Onyame. Kobi raps over a powerful Cleo Sol vocal loop recorded on the last day of the Mixtape project. The final tune is a warm feel good roller featuring cutsie Bristol folk vocalist Toy Face and classic piano lead.
