L'Equipe ran this story this morning

10m euros(what a bargain)

He will beast the Prem and hopefully be first choice at the Euros

safe, didnt know where the story originally came from

heard mixed reviews on him, some saying he's sick going forward but a bit suspect defensively

He is actually good at both.(Better than Clichy)

He is quick, powerful but his crossing needs work.

He has come a long way in three years

From becoming a national league player(Equivalent of Blue Square) to Vitoria Setubal to Porto to a failed medical@Milan to Lyon(that's all in one year) to French International now on the verge of joining Liverpool.

Hopefully you lot appreciate him more than Lyon do

yhh i didnt want Clichy, quite glad we didnt get him. How does he compare to Enrique ?

if we sign him hopefully he does well, be good to have another player with pace in the defence aswell. will reserve judgement till he comes if we get him, havent seen near enough of him to judge properly tbh. price sounds pretty reasonable to be fair. We have options at LB but we definately need a new first choice

I think he is better than Enrique in terms of a power and pace but Enrique is more technical/composed and has a better final ball.

The price is a steal it would represent the best deal King Kenny has done this summer so far.

Another thing Cissokho has over Enrique european both with Porto/Lyon was also oustanding against Man Utd in both legs in 08/09 whereas Enrique is untried outside the Prem(well I thinking long term because surely Dalglish wants to be back in the champions league)

Glad to see Henry backing Aquilani. Really hope this means he is staying.

Abundance of midfielders surely means we won't bother with getting another striker, Kuyt will go back to being a striker.

Squad is looking much stronger.

Be interesting to see who leaves. Poulsen HAS to go.

Dalglish is going to have a nice selection headache with the midfielders. Want to see Aqua playing with Suarez.
