Thunder vs. Grizzlies has been a hard-fought series, headed to a Game 7 in Oklahoma. Zach Randolph has been dominating offensively and OKC can't deal with him, plus Durant struggling with Shane Battier/Tony Allen defensive combo. I've found myself rooting for the Grizz due to underdog factor and the old school streak

So pumped for the ECFs. Going to be a dramatic series. I'm hanging my hopes on the Bulls dominating the boards, defensively keeping them in the half-court, and having the deeper rotation. If we can force Lebron/Wade into a pattern of taking turns at 1-on-5's we have a good chance. Defending home court is an absolute must, don't want any elimination games in Miami

sick game rooted in defence

chicago won the rebounding battle and lebron/miami made rose work for everything, especially in the crunch.

bogans made an uncharacteristic three in the 4th but apart from that him and korver were passengers. def. need a reliable second option. a perimeter threat, korver is semi-proven but bogans is anything

heat will probs go on to win the series, and see the mavs in the final, which i think the mavs have a very good shot at, dirk is shooting out of this world and i hope, looking for revenge.

anyway more important news.

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Lakers are finalizing negotiations with Mike Brown to make him the 22nd coach in franchise history, a source close to the situation said Wednesday.

"If you're building a championship team, your DNA always has to start with the defensive end of the floor," Bryant said at the time. "Always. I'm a firm believer in that. I don't believe in building a championship team on offense. It has to be built on defense and rebounding. Period."

=/

rick adelman is also a candidate, gasol/odom/kobe are able passers and his system focuses interior work, would suck for defence though,

Depressed at the nature of some of the losses and the 4-1 outcome, but ECFs is a good achievement for this Bulls team. Despite the No 1 seed we were underdogs in this series, and addressing a couple key areas could see us further along the road... the obvious hole is a starting SG who can create and make shots. Also a better backup PG, and and question marks over Boozer as well. I'm confident that they'll improve and come back stronger, but the problem is, so will the Heat. Once they upgrade their role players and bench, the league might be a wrap for a few years (barring injury) <_<

Would love for Dallas to take the finals, but I can't see it happening. They just ploughed through the best defense in the NBA. Miami don't have an answer for Dirk, but it's difficult to see their rotation of wings (Terry, Stevenson, Peja, Marion) containing the Big 2. Imagine Peja guarding Lebron for spells and we'll snm.

/ LOL @ Mike Brown, does this mean Kobe is effectively player-coach now? I think he will be very interested in this play from Mike's offense in Cleveland:
