Depends if you can, you could be using something that might not be available on Ubuntu or any other OS tbh.

Clean install. But that's because I was on the beta and I wasn't sure if I've upgraded to stable.

Update Manager showed up on my other machine and upgraded fine.

I think i'm going to make the switch, I don't use my laptop too tuff anymore, so I may aswell have a nice looking OS on here.

Install Y PPA Manager, will help you install many programs that aren't hosted on the app store.

Paste each line in to the Terminal (CTRL + ALT + T will launch it) and press enter.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/y-ppa-manager

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install y-ppa-manager

I formatted my hard drive recently. I want to run this plus my windows Vista.

My memory is 1Gb, 32 bit operating.

My questions are :

Where can I download this Ubuntu, latest version?

Is it easier to use than Windows?

Can I run .exe Windows type of files on it?
