Guest Portuguese
The news seems to be that it's non-malignant and he'll be back within 5-6 weeks. Hope that's true
MrJibbles
UEFA are such cunts, apparently they won't let Lyon wear shits showing a message of support to Abidal. And Madrid. You'd think common sense and heart would be at the top but nah this is Uefa, if it doesn't benefit them they'll turn their noses up.

MrJibbles
Barcelona have announced that Eric Abidal has had a liver tumour successfully removed after a three-hour operation on Thursday. The Spanish club said surgery on the 31-year-old Frenchman was without complications at Barnaclinic Hospital and the entire tumour was removed. They did not say if the tumour was benign. Abidal will remain in hospital for about one week. The defender has received messages of support from across the football world with Real Madrid and Lyon unveiling shirts saying "Get well Abidal" after their Champions League match on Wednesday. The France international has been a key player for Barcelona since joining from Lyon in 2007, helping the Catalan club to eight trophies http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/mar/17/eric-abidal-tumour-removed
