How can I turn my weaknesses of 10 years of going from Rwd forums, to a racist, benefit scrounger, a football hooligan, to Vip2 etc. ?

There must be a way to turn this around into a positive surely?

How can you so casually write off being a racist

Dunno some how tie in that "they took our jobs" mindset prevented him getting a job

Ash on a level u want a job go do some volunteer work for a month or so stick that on ur cv along with a cry story about not being able to get work

Cos 10 years out the game?

DAMN

Think about what kind of person the employer is going to want to be around everyday. Put yourself in the interviewers shoes and think about what things would put you on/off a candidate. Don't be hard to be around, be friendly and professional without coming across over confident or shy. Brush your teeth.

Well, I was shortlisted, then I passed the telephone interview. Then I passed the online literacy and numeracy test and now I'm at the last stage of interview/role play. Must be in with a shot surely?

Sounds hopeful

Just don't get too carried away with the roleplay

Be honest and say you know your new to the game but you have the desire to succeed and always willing to learn

Mention adaptability.. Say you pick up skills and procedures very quickly

State something along the lines of being a good communicator and give examples

I got my current job by just being brutally honest. It goes a long way and employers like that. You can add believable falsehoods in there if you like to make yourself more alluring - if you do make sure you back them up with a little insight and examples.
