YouTube is sh*t for songs, bitrate is so low.

I've ripped many songs using Cool Edit Pro in real time via Youtube & BBC iplayer and they come out near CD quality.

 

You just have know which ones to select.

as far as I'm aware the best quality you're gonna get is audio encoded at 128kbps AAC

compared to the 256kbps AAC from iTunes or 320kbps MP3 from other music stores you get

 

Soundcloud I believe gives you a 128kbps MP3 stream, not sure what Spotify gives you
