All I see is a good squad, good team and two class players.Arsenal had and will always have a very good team.I just think Jol is happy with being 5th.Complete bollocks.As much as Rsonist has put me off Spurs, I still like them. they are a team that are imporving season after season and they WILL pip Arsenal to fourth spot. Jol is being smart, he is being patient and gradually building a team that will get to the top and stay there, unlike Mourinho and Wenger who build teams for short-term sucess.All Spurs need is a good left winger and they're bless. They have a good enough squad to get 4th spot. They need a left winger and good CB to partner Dawson, cos King seems to inj prone and do think they will be a contender for 4 place.Regarding us, I dont think we have inproved for the past 2 seasons in all honesty. Guest Ryan Posted July 4, 2007 Report Share Posted July 4, 2007 The way I see it is last season we didn't have our two best strikers for half the season and couldn't convert chances to save our lives. 95% of games should have been comfortable victories for the possession we had and chances we created. Meanwhile, Spurs' strikeforce were firing on all cylinders and Liverpool were often able to field their strongest team but yet somehow we finished above Spurs and equal on points with Liverpool.We've now lost our best player (when fully fit), Henry. Last season though his presence barely made any difference, we still controlled most games and struggled to convert chances whether he was available or not.We have signed Eduardo, who has a great goal scoring record domestically and internationally. He's a finisher but of course whether he'll be good enough for the Premiership - none of us know but one thing's for certain if we create as many chances next season as we did last and Eduardo is half the finisher he's meant to be he'll score 15 league goals. If van Persie stays fit throughout the season he'll contribute around the same and add more goals from the midfield and we'll be definitely challening for the title next season.
