Midfielder Ljungberg, 30, has also been courted by Portsmouth and Italian side Fiorentina.Last week, his agent Claes Elefalk claimed that, out of respect for Arsenal, he would never play for another Premier League club.However, he will make the short journey from North London to the East End after nine years as a Gunner.Swede Ljungberg was a firm favourite with Arsenal fans and a key member of Wenger's Invincibles who went unbeaten through the 2003-04 league season.West Ham manager Alan Curbishley has already snapped up striker Craig Bellamy from Liverpool and central midfielder Scott Parker from Newcastle.And his spending will not stop at Ljungberg with another Toon star, midfielder Kieron Dyer, another frontman, Barcelona's Eidur Gudjohnsen, and Nicky Shorey, the Reading full-back, in his sights.However, the Hammers have called off their move for Roma winger Mancini.Curbishley made an enquiry about the Brazilian but has decided not to take his interest further. The Hammers will unveil the 30-year-old Sweden international at a press conference at 1400 BST. Ljungberg, who was also a target for Fiorentina, joined the Gunners in a ã3m deal from Halmstads in 1998 and scored 72 goals in 325 games for the club. He had two years left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger decided to sell him.
