Dizzle Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 But Robin isnt "prolific"..."Oh Anelka, anelka...Im not sure how Anelka came to that conclusion 11 goals & 7 assists in 17 games is very decent especially when you consider he was playing along Henry who wanted to score every goal himself.He didn't do too badly in the CL with 2 goals & 1 assist In 7 games.I seem to remember Anelka saying RVP is in Lita's, Doyles & Martins bracket as a striker..Although his record is closer to Wayne Rooneys who was the main man playing for a flying Utd side, he had 9 goals & 6 assists in the same space of time.I just wish RVP could play at least 30 games a season so everyone can relise how good he is. anelka Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 This is gona hot up over the xmas period!!Adebayor has 5 more starts than RVP, but that would've been the other way round if Ade had gone to Africa so...I think Adebayor will benefit from playing with RVP and it will be reflected in the respective goal tallys come May.RVP missed a sitter yesterday and although Adebayor aint the most clinical striker u will eva see im confident he will out-score the dutchman with ease...
