JOSE MOURINHO is in his last few hours as Chelsea boss, according to dramatic reports. He is said to have texted skipper John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba late last night with an emotion-packed goodbye. Mourinho reportedly held crisis talks with furious owner Roman Abramovich earlier in the day following Tuesday's dismal 1-1 home draw with Rosenborg. The former Porto chief, who guided Chelsea to the Premiership title in both his first two seasons, fell out with Abramovich last term. The Russian billionaire was unhappy with the Blues' lack of flair as Manchester United reclaimed the throne. Its hard to get like for like with Drogba but Im sure if Drogba were to leave and Villa to come in it wouldnt change things much.

No, but Mourinho's tactics and knowledge of the game are gone

They finished 2nd under Ranieri and only cause of the unbeaten run Arsenal had.Even if Chelsea played the rest of the season without a manager they would still do well. But the next manager who comes in will be high profile and will get success from the team as they are all stars and money is not a problem for them.

Even with the money and the stars its gonna take alot for another manager to come in and be as successful as Jose. The guy has been unbeaten at home in the league since 2004. Money and stars doesn't always guarantee success eg. real madrid between 2003-2006
