What do you think of it?This poster's been plastered on Italian billboards as part of Milan Fashion Week to shock the fashion industry into rejecting size zero models. Fact is, the woman in the poster has never been a model but has suffered from anorexia since she was 13.The photographer, Oliviero Toscani said he wanted to spur the debate about anorexia and the fashion industry but critics say it can also attract people to this disorder.^ taken from 1xtra websiteWhat do you lot think ? do you think more people will be attracted to the idea of becoming so thin when they see this poster ?Do you think it would be a good idea if posters similar to the one above were placed around the UK ? would it help get the messege across about the dangers of eating disorders to models /people in general ?personally i think the pink lettering does not highlight the NO ANEREXIA phraze very well. i dont know , i think the lettering should be in a much bolder dark font to highight the misery the person is going through , the pink somehow in a way glamourises it and makes it look more acceptable in a way . ye i know that probably doesnt make much sense to you but it does to me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(that twisted female logic for ya!)yep , other girls will think ooo if i look like her i could be the next face on the billboard.your right , it is about attention but you have to looka little deeper than that , some people may have called them fat in the past when they was at an average weight or even overweight and so now they are completely convinced they are fat and nothing no one says or does will change their mind.
