^True, chimbonda is worth about 10 mill and defoe is worth about £12 mil.But i would just get the money and let them go, we dont need them
Wot u somking fam.The only RB we have is Stalteri if we sell Chimbonda. Ilfil's joined Colchester, Gutner unproven at Premiership level.Cant understand thinking we dont need two of our best players. If you said we didn't need Tainio and Lee Yung Poo I could understand.
You abviously havnt watched any of the games this season. Chimbonda has been below par and defoe has been swagger then ever, his miss against arsenal proved that he isnt good enough. And your a joker for thinkin there 2 of our best players
FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT.U CHEEKY c*nt, I'VE SEEN SPURS PLAY LIVE 5 TIMES THIS SEASON...HOW ABOUT YOU..

lol defoe has been the most critical striker in the premiership this season, your going on like keane doesnt miss alot easier chances, like that voley from 4 yards out against arsenal in the league, and then going on to miss a pen...selling chimbonda this month would be the dumbest decision since buying rasiak.
THANK YOU.ZDOT biggrin.gif

Juande Ramos' first move into the Spanish transfer market since taking over at Tottenham could see him land Almeria duo Alvaro Negredo and Mane. Negredo is a highly-rated centre forward, while Mane is a left-back who can also operate in midfield. The duo have both performed in La Liga this term as Almeria fight admirably to remain in the top-flight. But Spurs could be set to make a move for the key duo after Ramos' scouts sent back good reports on the pair. Negredo only arrived at the Estadio Mediterrano in the summer from Real Madrid - who have a buy-back option. Negredo played for Real Madrid's B team Castilla during his time at the Bernabeu - but he impressed Fabio Capello during his reign and was included in a number of squads for their Copa Del Rey campaign. InterestSince his move to Almeria, Negredo has bagged five goals in 15 starts and has a number of clubs from around Europe taking an interest. "There does exist interest from big clubs in England, Germany and France for our players at Almeria but we have not received any formal offers," insisted Almeria supreme Alfonso Garca. But Negredo has already revealed his delighted at being linked with Spurs. "For me it is good to hear that Tottenham follow me," he told the Spanish press. "But I do not know any more details. Now in my head I am only thinking about Almeria and to play as much as I can for them. "Any offers go to my agent and club." Both Negredo and Mane are contracted to Almeria until 2010 - but they are unlikely to stand in their way if Ramos decides to firm up his interest.
Any good? don't follow Spanish football that much these days

A number of Premier League clubs are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Daniel van Buyten, according to the player's agent. The Belgian international has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Bayern starting XI this season, and has been linked with a move to Celtic. However, Van Buyten's agent Christophe Henrotay has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Fulham, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic are also keen on the 29-year-old - who had a loan spell with Manchester City in 2004. Unhappy"Every English club outside the big four that needs a central defender has shown an interest in Daniel," Henrotay said in the Daily Star Sunday. "Sunderland, Everton, Wigan, Tottenham and Fulham have all contacted me about him." Van Buyten added: "I am unhappy with my current situation."
Don't think we will table a bid though.

TOTTENHAM are in a two-horse race for Brazil ace Fred. The Lyon hitman has revealed that Spurs and Paris St Germain are vying for his signature. The Brazil international is on his way out of Lyon after losing his place in the French championsâ team. Fred, 24, said: âI have only received two offers, from Paris and Tottenham. âPSG made the first offer to me. I refused it. With Tottenham, it is the same. âMeetings have taken place with my brother. I think that we are going to see things materialise by Wednesday. âLyon have held talks with other clubs, not me. Not yet anyway.â
Swear PSG are swag these days.I still can't see us getting him, we would have 5 strikers biggrin.gif

Ramos should forget about strikers for now and concentrate on the midfield ,right back and goal keeping positionsOnce you get that sorted you WILL be moving, you aint got no problems scoring. But its that Commoli dude that buys the players init? Does Ramos have a say?
Think Ramos is telling that prick whats good, 'cause we are getting linked with some spanish guys and comolli is never in them ends.Ramos wants to sell defoe and Bent so he will just have 3 strikers. Our scouts were at the Ajax game as well, looks like robbo time is up.

Lyon striker Fred is due to meet with Tottenham in the next 48 hours and is now expected to seal a move to North London. The Brazilian is being allowed to leave by the French champions and they have accepted bids from Paris Saint Germain and Spurs, whilst Middlesbrough, Manchester City and Portsmouth also had an interest. Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas wanted Fred to move to Paris, but he left the decision with the player and his representatives, and they now appear close to striking a deal with Spurs - after previously rebuffing an offer from Tottenham. Fred's brother and agent Rodrigo confirmed that they would be meeting Spurs' director of football Damien Comolli in the next day or so. Meeting"Yes we are due to meet with Damien Comolli, he will come with a new offer," Rodrigo told L'Equipe. "If it [the offer] is good, Fred will sign for Tottenham." Should Fred, as expected, agree terms with Tottenham - then they will sign him a deal worth 12million euros (£9million). Fred's arrival will further bolster Spurs' attacking options, despite the fact they can already boast a world-class quartet in the shape of Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Darren Bent and Jermain Defoe. Fred's arrival could signal the departure of one of those four - with only Keane having not been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this month.
As long as Berbatov and Keano still stay, don't give a f*ck who leaves.
