Not where I live, I'm nearly as dark as most black people....Most people think I'm black and get surprised when they find out I'm mixed race. The same goes for my mix race friends and relatives......

Fair enough, it's a grey area, but the ones who look black (brown,caramel, light skinned, dark etc) i call them mixed race black people overall. I acknowledge that they are of mixed races, and depending on my what im referring to ill say mixed race or black, eg if im describing someone by appearance ill say that light skinned black person (they could be mixed race but that dont come in2 it when describing a person imo) if im being political then maybe mixed race i will say 1st depends on my reason.

They get called balck, one because black makes up some of their make up (blk/white parent case) AND OR because appearance wise they resemble/look similar 2 black people (black in all its shades)

If the you (if your mixed blk white) mug me (good boy like you wouldnt do that), and police come as me 2 desribe you, they say ''what colour was he''I wouldnt say mixed race, as it isnt a colour imo, and it wouldnt help the policeman as much as me saying ''yeah, he was a light skinned black boy'' mixed race dont equal a colour status IMO.
