Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming to the Xbox 360. This is not a rumor. This is straight from a Konami distribution representativeâs mouth. The game is already in production and has been since early 2007. Complete details after the jump: No, the rep will not be named, but this is pretty concrete. Speaking to a Konami rep at an undisclosed distribution meeting, I was told, after a lot of nagging, that yes indeed MGS was in development for the 360. The rep stated that Metal Gear Solid will be released for the Xbox 360 between 12 to 14 months after the PS3 version hits shelves. This is not a rumor.I contacted Microsoftâs own John Porcaro via email shortly after I spoke to the Konami rep to see if I could get anything from Microsoftâs public relations team. Below is the response I received. Needless to say itâs the most Iâve ever gotten out of MS PR team member.

look at the big difference in money made, and if Konami know they will make a profit on a 360 version they will make one its all about money and the fact that the PS3 is harder than the 360 to make games for just means more time in devlopment and more money being wasted.Just look at all the games that PS3 lost to 360 so far: Devil May Cry 4, Ace Combat 6: Fires Of Liberation, Resident Evil 5, Assassin's Creed, Grand Theft Auto, Virtua Fighter 5(360 also go online mode), Beautiful Katamari. I think it's fair to say this year will start showin more accurate findings on both consoles. Most games were designed for XBox first because of it being simpler to design the games for, doubt this will be the case once developers/programmers have mastered how to use the PS3 utilities.All i can keep sayin is. I see you XBox users talkin about our PS3 exclusives ud like to see on your console....... I can't name one game i want from XBox onto PS3 so that says it all for me. The original XBox had 2 games which i would of wanted on PS2 which were the two Knights of the old Republic games. Dunno if they are being made for the 360?? But id want them.
