Should I get one of these?Does anyone have one that they would either reccommend, or would warn against buying? Pros & cons etc.?I can't really see any alternatives, I may just have to get one after resisting ipods for so long.
I'm ina similar boat in that I've avoided ipods for so long but I'm able to get a 160gb video classic for 150 quid, should i take the plunge?

i wouldnt buy anuva ipodcreative zen,sony walkman mp3s are ok still
I had a creative zen before, it died on me & I didn't have a leg to stand on cause it was just out of warranty. Dunno if I'd get another one. The only one I've seen was only 16GB as well, and I'm looking for something bigger.Safe for the input.

few weeks ago i cracked my screen and contacted apple and jus gave me a new 1 but f*ckin gave me 1 without a engraving one . . .but the fact they jus gave me a new 1 a few days later . . .
That is pretty good customer service.UN.Muzik: That's what I'm talking about, the capacity you get for the price with these new ipod classics can't be matched, as far as I've seen. Can anyone show me otherwise?

musta ave been within the yr warenty,coz after that year they don't do nuffinunless u take out insurance.I avoided ipods for time then i gave in, im happy wid mine but its only a nano3ghad the nano2g but screen broked jus outta the yr

I was almost anti iPod.But I bought the Sony NWA 1000 or whatever, that purple one and believe me it was a bag of wank.I returned it and bought a 60gb Video iPod about a year and a half to two years ago and guess what it's still working, not had a single problem with it. True say I do tend to look after my valuables but even still problems can occur, yet I have faced none.I've dropped it about 4 or 5 times at most, on hard surfaces and it's been fine as well. My usage of my ipod is everyday, for about 6 - 8 hours a day.I recommend an iPod.

Dunno, I like the creativeness of the ipod touch but the capacity is lacking.I am thinking of going for that.

I've always avoided Ipods as ive been using my sony ericcsson walkman phone.But i recently got a new Ipod touch 16,gbmainly because i don't wanna carrie around a fat off ipod classic cos i don't need all the music with me all the time lol.I've got 4 movies and 2000 songs on my ipod and still have memory left over so im bless. Plus i can browse internet, go on youtube and what notits also SEXY lol and slimline.

Sound-wise = Creative zens are better.Overall product = The ipod.Get the ipod, i've got the new nano 8gb. It's quality and hasn't given me any problems. looking to get a 16gb flash based, when they come out. Still, Flash based players >> hard-drive players

This is what I'm seeing aswellPersonally I'd like an Archos for the sole reason i wouldn't have to convert my avi films and thing into other file types, but the storage on Archos' with relation to price seems like a bump

You jjust cant beat an iPodMy touch is bless, I have more than enough songs on there. Even though its not the whole of my libaray, got films/music videos. Only think I have a gripe about is the WIFI connections, sometimes you can be right next to the wireless roueter and it still wont pick it up. However going in a Starbucks is bless lol.Also for the touch, dont understand why we didnt get the same apps as the iphone, mail cilent, doc viewer etcYou can jailbreak it and install 3party programs if you want, but apple have just annouhed that next month they will be doing an offical firmware update which will allow us to have other apps
