whats wrong with that
Read the title of the thread. MOST people who work at MCds only do so because they are not very good in a classroom setting. And even if the above statement is not true, theres no reason why these people, having shown a general interest in getting a qualification, can do so in a proper establishment. This is just a lazy way of making people feel they are actually doing something worthwile, when infact they are just tryna teach em how to be better MCds employees.
wow, what a silly statement. Swear mcdonalds is the biggest employer of under 20's in the entire world, AND the UK so if anything thats supposed to be a major responsibility of theirs, if they offered even better scholarships in line with their profits, you or at least many others who think they are 'smarter' than a mc dees employee would probably boldly work there too. Education cant ever be too accessible, thats everyone's damn right to be educated. allow stiff lipped cunts who went to oxbridge and grammar schools, and those who prefer to remain uneducated make you think that education should be some exclusive thing.

I hate the way that Mcdonald workers are looked down on when they provide a valid service for the public. The people that hate on them and think they are all dumb, did you ever consider these people are humans as well? Every life is unique wether you are working in McDonalds, sweeping roads or on benefits (like myself.... yes we make the world interesting). It is even more stupid to cuss Mcdonald employees, especially when you buy their food and have probably spent thousands in their restuarants.Good luck to them people still. Let them get their qualifications. Maybe people will respect them more when they are educated.

Man goes to London Met and he's trying to dub McDs employees about "not doing well in the classroom".
biggrin.gif was gonna say that, but i was sure you had probably said it first. not that he cant have an opinion but choopid opening comments.
Ok man, calm down init. I made an IRRATIONAL comment. I know what I was tryna say, but I just didnt communicate it very well lol. Theres PLENTY of comments that you come out with are equally as irrational, but I dont feel the need to jump on em. Calm down, is all im saying.

your idea of uneducated people is wrong still .... you never know some of these guys might learn suttin and get a job earning more than they get in McDs.
Yea true. But the way I see it, if your commited enough to want to do a McDegree, you may aswell get a proper one, at any level.
good comeback

dumbness fam most of the people i knew that was in the mcdonalds i was in was studying from college to post graduate qualifications there was a few no hopers but they was always outweighed from what i remember and even then the people that wasnt studying DID go to management after a while and i do recall them having to always be doing some sort of course in some nuts every every other month so that talk about not good in a classroom setting is a bit unfounded still.i dont even know why im bothering to defend it i dont work there no more but allow talking like mcds is waste place to work best FIRST job for any bodyTRUTH.
