Kurtis Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 how people get colours onto computers....even if using html how u actually get colours onto a computer....always baffled me probably a simple answer aswel...dunno wot u mean but...the screen has littledots..otherwise known as pixelseach pixel is divided into 3 subpixels, red, blue and green.and information is sent, (whether the screen is LCD or CRT itll act differently. but its basically the same principle), the relevant subpixels are lit, so if u want white, all will light up, if u want black, none will (i know ull say u can still see the screen lit up, but thats coz LCDs use lights on either end to light up the display.same kinda thing for CRT's, but they use gases n sh*t (i think) n thats more chemistry than i care to know Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
