I'm liking that the anime has finally got to the point, but apparently they're going back to filler.Need a new anime still, something new-ish (last 6 years preferably), not too long (less than 60 episodes), and good. Currently on a weekly mix of Naruto, Bleach, Shangri-La and Dragonball Kai. But as the US shows have cut out for the summer, I need something to fill the gap for slow days. Anyone got any recommendation?

Yeah Im pretty sure it is, Ive got a friend whos immersed in japanese mythology. Everytime a new chapter comes out he is always trying to relate it to the gods and stories.

Aite, finished Soul Eater. I liked it even though at most times it was slightly immature, and there wasn't much logic to how the heroes ever beat the bad guys but I guess that's just fiction for you.Tried Rurouni Kenshin but weren't really feeling it. Every time I try going to old anime it seems the same, loads of people have told me to watch Cowboy Bebop but I just can't get into it properly either.So...any other recommendations?

Fairy Tail is a hard manga
Comes across as another aimless shounen. Not a big fan of Weekly Shonen, they havent put out anything interesting in my opinion.I'd recommend Pluto to anyone to read, honestly rate it up there amongst the best mangas Ive read, written by one of the elite mangakas. Poses many thought-provoking questions on human thought process, artificial intelligence, social and psychological issues. Story follows Gesicht, an highly advanced robot who is used as a detective. He’s been assigned to two murder cases, both very alike - one, the killing of Mont Blanc, a cherished robot and secondly a human who was responsible for keeping robot laws in existence. What happens next, with the array of amazing characters and fast paced plot is one you have to read to find out :D8 volumes in total, so not that much to read relatively. Volume 1 here - http://view.thespectrum.net/series/pluto-volume-1.html
