How can people not know about the 24 drinking law?Must be a nice cave you guys are living in.
They don't know because they are used to the government shoving their big black cocks up our arses..Its like getting stabbed..You get stabbed a few times and then after that you don't feel nothing cause your used to the pain.

All thats happened is the police have to be on alert for drunken call outs 24 hours a day rather than just 11-1 (when most pubs closed before). In my opinion, this 24 hour licence just means alcohol companies can sell more alcohol and pubs can make more money, the stagnated and inconsistent times at which the police have to be available because of this 24 hour idea, is very stupid.

:D Nar, wouldnt say im Muslim, or religious. Father is, but hes a 'non practising Muslim'. A small, but ever growing offshoot from the conventional Islamic traditions and beliefs the West has become so embracive of in recent years. Mothers half Nigerian, and shes not religious either.Whyd you ask?

its not active in all pubspeople tend to only take advantage of this during sports events that are outside normal hoursmost pubs havnt even applied for the extended licences as they will lose money rather than make more

I've noticed no effect. Only some places applied for extended hours. Hardly any of these places are actually open 24 hours - never actually found a pub which does this (and I've looked), only hotels, which only serve hotel guests anyway. The biggest advantage for me is being able to pick up beer at Asda during shopping trips in the early hours
