One muscle group per week?

Just signed up back to the gym and want to increase muscle bulk all over really but not too much and im trying to set out a rountine.If for example in my routine i just done chest once a week would that be enough to see a substantial difference?ATM it's looking like this:Day 1:-Chest-Triceps-AbsDay 2:-Shoulders-Biceps-AbsDay 3-Legs-Traps-Abs?

i also thought you meant 1 muscle group all weekwas gnna say not unless your on the roidsone guy in my gym comes in everyday and just does chest f*cked
