Colin Turnover
Touched down in the complex about 6ish and were in some DEAD block, no atmosphere. Go check on some chicks we know and their block is live, sound system on the block etc Get back to the chalet and get ready, by the time we roll out were f*cked off the Goose, Dom P, Sizzurp and So Co (Why one of the mandem mixed all them drinks and give everyone a FULL glass I dont know, coz that set me up). Missed Ralf Gum, but Joey Negro, Grant Nelson and Marlon D threw down. Chicks are circling *yawn* and the magic has got people on a madness. Check one bad gyal. *gyal approaches doing some trance skank* Gyal: Follow my moves Colin: Im not in them moves you know Gyal: come on, just follow my moves Colin: *starts doing trance skank* LOL I was GONE. I cant remember if Ive even got the order of the DJ's right. Apparently by 5am I was sleeping standing up, leaning on the wall.Chicks we knew took me home. Wake up at 11ish and Im hearing that Carlos Aries on deck. Quick shower, throw on the trackie and reach 275 with Courvoisier in hand. Stayed there til about 6. (Tipper I think this is when I was chatting to you at the front of the reception/shop/club part?) Part 2 later...

Guest FA23
Dear Weekender Friends, The Southport Weekender is Moving ! With exactly 4 months to go and after weeks of negotiations we are ecstatic to be bringing you the news that we are moving the event to an absolutely fantastic new location, Butlins Holiday Resort in Minehead, Somerset. This will come as a big shock to everyone after all the years we've been at Southport and the many fond memories we all hold, but even before the administration issues at Pontins we had been in negotiation with Butlins to move the event there in the future. And for this reason alone Butlins have stepped in to move heaven and earth to accommodate us for our May event, even though it is in peak season for them. As you all know through our past e-mails to you, our solicitors have been in regular contact with the administrators at Pontins. But despite making all the right noises they can not give us the cast iron guarantees that May's event will proceed as they are actively trying to sell Pontins. We cannot take the risk to you or us with the possibility of only 2 months to go and another £500k invested and no chance of finding a new venue, the event then not proceeding for one reason or another. They say things happen for a reason and if this is true, when you see the Minehead resort, which sleeps just over 6000 people, we know you're going to love it! The resort really is amazing and the good news is with the extra capacity, everyone will be on resort including staff, DJ's and artists as one big happy family. And for all you unlucky people who missed out we will be putting another 1500 places up for grabs from Friday 28th January 2011 - we will of course keep you updated on this over the coming weeks. We could go on forever about the fantastic benefits of this move but below we've listed just a few of them. It's a truly beautiful landscaped resort situated near the rolling hills of Somerset on the edge of Exmoor National Park with lovely beaches and the harbour town of Minehead. Being close to the gulfstream it often enjoys the weather and judging by the palm trees we believe it. The standard of on resort accommodation on offer is of all sizes from 2-berth upwards to 8-berth, with a choice of self catering and room only, are superb - and no more electric cards - as all your electricity is included!! If you really want to push the boat out the 5* BlueSkies Apartments with a concierge service may be for you but more about that at a later date. The 4 purpose built venues are in a different league and perfect for what you're used to but much better. All centrally located. As well as our own staff, Butlins have a 1200 person trained Team on resort and on hand to help with things and even direct or take you to your apartments. As well as the venues, which excitingly will remain the same format but better, the resort itself has loads of fantastic facilities including; The amazing Splash Waterworld, Multi Sports Courts, Cinema, Go Carting, Funfair, 10 Pin bowling, Hairdressers (for you ladies to prep yourself), Shops, including supermarket, bakery, launderette, newsagent. Bumper Boats. 3 other on resort pubs as well as the venues; The Sun and Moon, perfect for the Friday arrival party and Saturday pm party with its excellent location and outside area. The obligatory Irish bar The HotShots Sports Bar with plasma screens and ten pin bowling, pool, snooker and darts.

Colin Turnover
LOL @ the level of hype the move has created. My line's been going nuts since 6pm. Was just gonna do a ticket only ting and commute this year. Now its the full chalet ensemble. M6/M5 estimated time 3 (and a half) hours barring traffic. Savant, Faze, Tyred, Zeke. Assemble some teams and do this ting. J_Lovely you have no excuse!

Creed Diskenth
Apologies for the impersonal reply but we are receiving so many e-mails asking similar questions it is easier for us to send you a generic reply with a list of those being asked. Pick out the ones that apply to you and make sure you act in good time if you wish to join us in May. Firstly, as we have been saying for years, please make sure you register for our mailing list e-flyers as we send information out directly via these. Then you can get information directly from us rather than picking it up second hand from Farcebook, Twitter, friends etc http://www.southportweekender.co.uk/Maillist_FeedbackFormPage.html. The link to Monday’s announcement is on our website home page along with a questions and answers section that will probably address any questions you have that aren’t covered here. Our next e-flyer will tell you exactly what time the extra 1500 tickets will go on sale on line on our www.southportweekender.co.uk website on Friday 28th January. We have a small number of self catering apartments (kitchen facilities i.e. cooker, fridge etc in your apartment) available at £175pp and we have 4, 7 and 8 berths available. We have a larger number of room only places available (bedroom, en-suite facilities only) at £165pp with options of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 berths. For both self-catering and room only options you can either pay in full or pay a deposit of £50 per person, however we would need the remaining balance to be paid and all party information (including all passport photos) to reach us by 4th March 2011 at the very latest. A lot of people are asking about upgrading to Gold and Silver apartments. These are not sold individually. All apartments have been allocated on a first come first served basis as we’ve been doing at Pontins for 20+ years. So, those that have already booked and paid in full will be allocated first starting with reference number 1 and upwards. When the Gold and Silver apartments have been allocated we will be allocating the remaining bookings to standard apartments. Blue Skies Apartments, these are very limited but the approx extra price for a 6 bed one of these is £900 on top of the normal price. Further details on the Sunday stopover places will be announced in one of our future e-flyers. As you can understand our lines are extremely busy and we appreciate your patience at this time, however we hope this email has answered all your questions and we look forward to seeing you in May.
