people chattin sh*t even in an inflated market and being man city ur not gonna pay much more than 20 mil for adebayorthey paid 18m for santa cruz and that was a buy out clause in his contractso u aint gonna pay 25-30 for adebayor
I don't even see how you can try argue this.If you're willing to pay a player 130-170k a week as is being reported common sense says you're willing to pay more than 20 million for him.17.5 million for Santa Cruz? he's older and hardly played last season due to injuries.12 million for Barry who had 1 year left on his contract.Adebayor tied down to a 5 year deal playing for Arsenal, a CL team, 20 million? (previously wanted by AC Milan for £25 million)Again, Arsenal got some sh*t deal if 20 million is the fee. How you gonna sell one of your leading goal scorers to a team that could potentially be serious rivals, should have made them pay through the nose or told them to f*ck off.

n/a are you happy that you have sold adebayor for 20m when he could have gone for 30 odd last season?
if anyone would of payed 30m for him last summer they would of been mugsthen this season he was sh*t compared to last season so his value is obviously gonna come down20 m is a decent price for him im happy with itproblem is i doubt we will replace him with someone who is a 20m playeruve sold ronaldo for 80m and replaced him with uefa cup players worry about ur own problems :D
lolThe arrow came out. He is NOT happy. Accept it, we sold Ronaldo for the highest fee of all time, ever. And you sold Adebayor for less then you should have. You got bumped in the sale of players the same way we get bumped when we buy players.

why has this deal dragged on his agents are wiating for ac milan obviously hed want to go there over citywhy hasnt he gone there cos ac miland dont wanna pay 20+ million for adebayorif u pay 25-30 m for adebayor in italy u get ur training ground burnt downthe only team who will pay 25-30 million for adebayor is citybut the thing is adebayor wants to go, it would be very hard for him to come back nd play at his top level nex season after what he said about the fansso why r city gonna pay vastly over the odds for a player who wants to go nd who arsenal will sell happily (wenger has already come out publicly a week ago nd said if adebayor wants to go he will go nd we will replace him)therefore even city aint stupid enough to pay 30m for himwages is different his agent will always get the best based on what others have at city

:D Not one thing you've said there puts City in the stronger position for negotiation. You've seen them pay dumb prices for players already so you make them do it again, simple.

no because if arsenal say we want 30m, nd city say no thanks will buy huntelaar instead for 15mthen we dont end up selling adebayor, because nobody else will pay silly money for himcity have the bargaining power, relative to the other transfers they have done this summerwhich is what people was forgettin when they was dumbly comparin there over purchases this summer with this onehe could stay nd would still do decent but cant see him reachin them high levels at arsenal anyone who watched us last yr will of seen his changed attitude20m is a good price, if we get 25m i will be very happy

But thats what people are arguing about Mandem are screaming that 20million is way to low for a player proven in the Champions League and scoring 30+ goals in a season aswell as them being your rivals and the richest team in the world and there are players like Santa Cruz who was purchased for for just 3million pound left and Ade is still only 25Do you agree with that?/Hope that 20million is worth when he fires Man City to 4th place above Arsenal

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that new Manchester United signing Gabriel Obertan will be out for at least three months. The 20-year-old is thought to have picked up the problem at former club Bordeaux and is now not expected back until October. The Red Devils boss admitted that he knew of the injury when he first lodged his interest in the Frenchman but still decided to go through with the transfer. The news explains why the winger was not selected as one of United's 22-man squad for their pre-season tour of Asia earlier this week."Obertan has an injury that will keep him out for three months or maybe more," Ferguson said."We were aware of that at the medical but we're quite happy with the situation."
NICE 1!!!!
Although Hargreaves is to play no part in United's pre-season tour of the Far East he is expected to join up with his team-mates in Munich for the Audi Cup at the end of July.Sir Alex Ferguson is happy with how Hargreaves' rehabilitation has gone to date and is quietly confident his injury nightmare could soon be behind him."I think we are looking at the end of September depending on how he reacts," said Ferguson."We are happy with his rehabilitation so far and while he won't be ready to play in Munich, he will be able to train."
Hopefully he can stay fit, will score more from set pieces then that p*ssy R******

So what r u sayin ivan gazidis hasnt done any type of deal in his life he has no business accumeninstead of gettin the maximum value for a player hes sayinfuk it we wont get the most we will just accpet whatever they offerobviously arsenal will try nd get 30m or the max value nd its prob what it started atbut its unlikely city will pay 30m for a player, who has made his stay at a club almost untennable and almost has to go this summer

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Manchester City will be getting a 'special' player in Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togo international is to undergo a medical at Eastlands on Saturday ahead of a reported £25million switch.Wenger, who brought Adebayor from Monaco in 2006, confirmed a transfer is in the offing while stating that the returns of injured duo Thomas Rosicky and Eduardo will help compensate for his exit. When asked if a deal looks more likely than less likely, Wenger said on Sky Sports News: "Yes."He is up at Manchester City having a medical and we will see what comes out of it."If the medical is positive and he agrees personal terms then it could happen.Fee"We'll miss him, but of course we want to focus on the players that are with us at the moment."We want to wish him well and thank him for everything he has done for the club."I wish him well, I am sure he will give something special to Man City."On our side we have Thomas Rosicky back and Eduardo back on Monday in full training. We have lost a big striker but gained one offensive player and one striker."When asked about the alleged £25million fee for Adebayor, Wenger said: "I don't know what is good and what is bad in today's transfer market. We still have to sign the documents."The price we do not know. And we don't know whether we or Man City will come out with the price."
Sounds like Wenger does not want him to go+That he will not replace him
