TF S4DK Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 Long story short....Cam'ron & The Diplomats was suppose to come to do two shows in the UK in 2004, one in London and another in Birmingham.They never turned up and promoters lost money.Promoters said Dipset cant come to London or make money till they get they money back.Summer '08, Juelz & J.R. Writer came to the UK to do two shows, one in London and another in Wolverhampton. They did neither show as the promoter and company from the '04 shows turned up at the hotel Juelz & J.R. was in, and unknowingly effectively shut down the event.Juelz eventually "agreed" to settle the situation with the outstanding '04 shows by returning next year (April '09) to do three "free" shows for them, and he obviously still owes a show to the London '08 promoter and Wolverhampton '08 promoter.Thats about a brief a summary as I could give. TF S4DK Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 The story Cam said seems to be the most maintained one...However in '06 Cam & Juelz played totally unaware and let Big Joe (their manager) take the blame fully to the point it looked like Cam & Juelz had no idea and was shocked that Joe would cancel a show cos of the class of plane tickets.Then in '08 Juelz still played unaware but in the hotel when man was saying ring Big Joe he did NOT want to do it so it was like okay Juelz you have some idea... and then the signing of the contract made it clear he took the money and at the very least knew about the money.After the Juelz thing here, Cam told them man what it was anyway...
