I've been saying this since last season, He cost 17 million and doesnt have an affect on the game, as i've always said United fans never find themsleves over a course of the game saying "ohh we need to bring Nani on here now!" Giggs' treble season was injury ravaged the only reason Blomqvist played in that Juve semi 2nd leg was because after Giggsy scored against Arsenal in the Fa Cup replay and ran round the place like a maniac he strained his hamstring. i beg you go out and buy the treble season dvd/video or somthing and see for yourself that Giggs was preserved for all the big games . the only threat Giggs ever had to his left wing place was from Sharpe and even then Sharpe could play elsewhere and he was there before him so really giggs was the threat to Sharpe. don't let your mystifying dislike of the greatest Legend to ever play for our club cloud you memory
