How did your family react to you bringing a black man home? Did the horsey set approve?
You being sarky here Charlie? is there a way in which ones family should react? This is exactly why i tended not to tell people I have horses as they automatically presumme some stuck up family or something - Horsey set? Horses don't tend to care about peoples skin colours thats why they are much better than your average human. Or is it because im Scottish you think this? I've stated before on here, that i lived/grew up where the american base was in Scotland, I was at School with black people/mixed race people/Hispanics/asian etc we socialised together as did our families, So me hanging around with people who had a different skin colour was not something out of the ordinary. Someones skin colour has never been an issue to my family or anyone of my friends as a large set of them are mixed race
Nah, I was being serious cos generally people with horses = people with a lot of money and are generally middle class Conservatives from what I know anyway, but I don't know anyone with a horse so that's just what I saw on the telly.
Alright Cool, Its one of those stereotypes that I have, people are always really shocked when it comes up I have horses - Suprised about the conservative statement though i know alot of horse owners who are all for labour. Yeh what you see on telly is a load of shite basically.

Plus my first boyfriend was in reception when I poked some lad in the back with a pencil and he was black. So he pretty much knew from I was 4 that I'd like the black fellas.
Does that read the way its meant to?Ur first boyfriend was in reception while you poked some other lad in the back with a pencil and he was black, so my dad pretty much knew from the age of four i was on black men?Or is that first boyfriend meant to read dad?

EASEdid your fam used to do fox hunting and dem tingsi feel like its carpet time you are a some old war time vet visiting the class loltell me more tell me more :D :D
LOLNoUp until my mum had me she never had a horse, she had ridden as a child had a really bad accident and fell off and her parents wouldnt let her ride again. My dad always been a "city slicker" grew up in Glasgow infact my dad wasnt really into animals he didnt like dogs and all he knew about a horse was avoid their back legs. When i started showing an interest in riding, my mum gained the courage to get a lesson and she started riding again too, I got my first pony, a year later she got a horse then i got another horse and another and another. We used to just keep our horses at someone elses yard and pay them, but we studied and went on to do hnc etc in horse care & equine first aid for horses and people etc and over the years gained enough knowledge, experience and qualifications to open up our own place. We bought land from someone else and we built everything from scratch was just a field and grass and now a BHS approved livery yard with liveries (other peoples horses who pay us to look after them) it really came from that. I lost interest in the horses at around 17, moved to London with my cousin and never spoke about them what so ever, so alot of people who have known me since i was 17 down there only found out in the last four years that i have horses. (PPl complain i baffle, so if theres something in specific you want to know kurious, drop the question and ill answer.)

What? I was in reception, he was in reception, we were in the class, he was sat infront of me, I poked him in the back with my pencil so that meant he was my boyfriend? Coincidently I lost my V to the same person. Funny ay.
ahhhhhhh, it was just the way it read at first
