Im gonna laugh at the amount of people with broken pride come sunday. everyone keeps talking about levels and god like execution and sh*t. end of the day none of that matters. everyone will be choking left right and centre. some 8 mile bs.
as long as we through the first round my pride will be intact, this will be my first video game tournament i have ever participated in you aint gonna win on your first go are you
you might do better than you think, you got a good bison and your execution is good with him. you give me a lot of trouble when I play you. But I've been in a few and i still am nervous every game and do stupidness. only game that I have never been nervous in was against zak at xmas. no idea why, prob cause i didnt mind losing lol

This time, we can hear the remix themes outside of the rival battle, right?Tomozawa:That's right. As the people also wanted to hear them during battles, we made it so that this can be easily unlocked. Ms. Shiozawa already mentioned it on her blog last week, but to explain it again - on the Status screen if you set your icon and title, it will unlock the Arrange BGM option. From Sound in the Options menu, set Arrange BGM to on and you'll be able to hear the remix themes during battle. And when you go into an online lobby, you will hear either a stage BGM or the remix BGM randomly. Also, for all rival battles, this time around you will hear your own character's theme.

:D i think you missed the concept of sandbagging. Especially on the day of a tournament.

Yeah mate, you play with Akuma and Sagat in casuals then proceed to get battered when you haven't warmed up with abel :Y:How can you even sandbag using characters that you're sh*t with, thats not sandbagging. Its just means taking a few things out of your game. Casuals on tournament days is just about seeing if you're combos come out, testing if everything is working. I always do wake up ultra's when i play casual against new people that i play, doesn't necessary mean i play sh*t. Just take a few things out and play randomly.

i dont get nervous playing Zak or Ryan but as soon as i win a round it kicks inat the christmas thing i won two rounds in a row against ryan hart and he came back and beat me 3-2 but atleast i did better than almost everyone therebut yeah nerves aint really a problem for me/Yo Emraistlin does that mean we can hear the game music like Guile's theme at menu mode etcand in SSFIV do you have to get all the titles and icons again?

This, I do not knowWhat that means is that, if you put an icon and a title for your profile (ie : play a bit), you have a new option that unlocks musicsThen, randomly (as far as I know, but game is not out yet), you'll have character musics or stage musicsNot sure you have control over it, and maybe it can still change, but that's what the news says (and random music is cool, even if it is only with SSF4 musics, but new character musics have been confirmed, like Hawk or Dee Jay)

oh koolof topic but did anyone here know there was a Namco vs Capcom game for the PS2 but I think its kinda like an rpgbut if they done that why not do a normal namco vs capcom fighting game it sounds dodgy but atleast its an idea

Well, I do only when i think i'm gonna set up a meaty, or when I frame trap.Meaty and Counter have the same effect (getting 1 to 3 frames of hitstun in bonus)Frame Trap are going to do counter, because that's what a frame trap does : hitting the startup of the countermove, so it will do a counter, so I can plan on it.
