djbmc
130kg deadlift. I weight at least 50 kg less than that. Very happy.do u regard deadlifts as a back or legs exercise primarily and how do u incorporate them into ur routine? i'm thinking about starting them as i've kinda plateau'd recently but i wanna know when i should do them. Angelo
Back imo.Do them on Bicep/Back day before I do anything else as they tire me a bit and my grip isn't usually strong enough after I've done all the other exercises to hold the barbell long enough. It gives out before my back does which is a PITA.

kahuna
Back imo.Do them on Bicep/Back day before I do anything else as they tire me a bit and my grip isn't usually strong enough after I've done all the other exercises to hold the barbell long enough. It gives out before my back does which is a PITA.C/S I do it on back day also and 1st thing toodefo back, but they work your glutes massively too. i find that when i do leg press if u put the seat as close as u can get to the board and putting your legs as high as possible, u work the glutes really well, and this will help your deadlift and squats a lot
