I think a degree of it is nostalgia. Everything seems more epic as a kid but there are definitely some shows that stand out even when you are older (I'm talking about the ones in the post above apart from beyblade). Whether they are better than 90s and 80s cartoons is a matterbof opinion. 90s batman shits on everything.

The animation on 80s cartoons was sh*t when u look at it now, like they couldn't afford proper animation so they'd have one frame of a guys face and just animate the mouth, looks well dodgy. 90s cartoons>>>>>______
