Zenit St Petersburg goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeev missed Thursday's Europa League visit of FC Twente after his wife was killed in a car crash.Marina Malafeev, 36, lost her life in the early hours of Thursday morning when her car reportedly skidded in snow on St Petersburg's Primorskoye highway and hit a tree. A statement on Zenit's official website read: "Marina Malafeev, our goalkeeper's wife, died early this morning in a car crash. "Out deepest condolences to Vyacheslav Malafeev and his family." Malafeev's team-mates wore black armbands as a mark of respect at the last-16 second-leg encounter at St Petersburg's Petrovsky Stadion. Thursday night's opponents also expressed their sadness at the accident, releasing a statement which read: "FC Twente expresses its deepest condolences to the Malafeev family and Zenit St Petersburg."R.I.P

So Wastelands is not 100% full for the 6pm kick-off yet Anfield was full when they kicked off at 6pm a few weeks ago..Does this tell us Liverpool are the better supported club or that Manchester has more employed people thus a 6pm kick-off ona thurs is not feasible for the working fan but more than suitable for the benefit grabbing scouser?

most of city europa leauge games are not 100..even at the 8pm kick offs...one of the games they had during the group stage tickets was just £1
