Against most teams? Wing back cos he'll be able to get forward without any concerns. But against teams who play with proper width or Barca cos of their superiority, it'll be interesting to see what's done. You'd think Mourinho will still play him as a LB/WB in the hope he is more disciplined/intelligent when going forward.If anything Marcelo was at fault for a lot of the goals Real conceded vs Barca but at the same time in CDR final if Marcelo hadn't gone forward it wouldn't have freed Di Maria for the cross for Ronaldo's winner. Seems like his time may be up though.

Didn't even watch the game but I heard it was easy.Marcelo had an excellent season in 2010/11 but he still makes crucial mistakes eg the slip which allowed Afellay in the first leg of champions league semi. Marcelo will be back up for Coentrao in a lot of the games but I won't be surprised if he plays against Barca as a 2nd LBCoentrao will be used as a RB/LB/LW/double pivot or even a triple pivot. What he has in his favour is alot pace,height,stamina,versatility=An Athlete
