Crespo is too good. That goal against Liverpool in the 2005 CL Final. When Kaka once again opened up Carragher...Ye, that goal......One of my all time favourite goals. The way he just stabbed it.....SICK.
Love this goal, its the way he drinked it over Dudek never had a chance.Crespo big player, loves scoring goals not coming back to Chelsea.
its was all about that pass where kaka put just forward enough for carragher to not reach it even when he slid and it STILL was perfectly weighted for Crespo

People going on like Crespo flopped at Chelsea his goal ratio was good and much better than most strikers in their first season in the premiership. Crespo second best striker in the world he can score every type of goal. Gudjohnson better! move out with that talk.
Gudjohnson was better AT Chelsea. Shame he was our version of Solskjaer.

Chatting sh*t, he's good but his goal record is similar to michael Owens, I can't remember the last time he scored 20 league goals & I don't think his goal record at the world cup was that great. What are you basing him being the 2nd best on?

Crespo is a very good player. The guy has such good movement and has a very good footballing brain, Not to mention he can bang in the goals as well. Wouldn't say hes the 2nd best Striker in the world but would easilly walk into most teams.

Oppinion by watching him regular, his movement in the box is incredible always creates that yard of space, can score with both feet, with head, inside and outside the box with ease. Crespo is the most lethal finisher bar Batistuta i've ever seen. No matter where he goes he scores goals. Okay fair enough if man are saying gudjohnson was better at chelsea but Gudjohnson had longer to prove himself. Micheal Owen was class but never been as deadly as Crespo, I respect the fact Owen has good scoring records in 2 leagues, in europe and Champions league. For a striker to be as prolific as he has in Serie A for so long deserves automatic respect.Stats don't tell everything, but there they are:-Career of Hernan CRESPO Club Championship European Competitions Caps 93-94 River Plate 13 Goals, 25 Games (-) 94-95 River Plate 5 Goals, 18 Games (-) 95-96 River Plate 6 Goals, 19 Games (-) 96-97 Parme AC 12 Goals, 27 Games (-) 97-98 Parme AC 12 Goals, 25 Games 2 Goals, 8 Games (Champions League) 1 Games 98-99 Parme AC 16 Goals, 30 Games 6 Goals, 8 Games (UEFA Cup) 99-00 Parme AC 21 Goals, 34 Games 1 + 3 Games (Champions League + UEFA Cup) 3 Goals, 4 Games 00-01 Lazio Rome 26 Goals, 32 Games 2 Goals, 6 Games (Champions League) 6 Goals, 7 Games 01-02 Lazio Rome 13 Goals, 22 Games 3 Goals, 7 Games (Champions League) 2 Goals, 5 Games 02-03 Inter Milan 7 Goals, 18 Games 9 Goals, 12 Games (Champions League) 03-04 Chelsea 10 Goals, 19 Games 2 Goals, 10 Games (Champions League) 04-05 Milan AC 10 Goals, 28 Games 6 Goals, 10 Games (Champions League) 05-06 Chelsea 10 Goals, 30 Games 2 Goals, 5 Games (Champions League) 06-07 Inter Milan 7 Goals, 18 Games 1 Goals, 4 Games (Champions League) Argentina 60 (32) Yes he's only got 20 goals a season twice but in serie A thats f*cking impressive. No doubt he could easily score 20 in premiership of La liga. Crespo, Henry, Nistelrooy, Ronaldo and eto'o are the only strikers to have a genuine claim to be the worlds best alie? Ronaldo and Henry on form are in leagues of thier own. Crespos a step ahead of eto'o and Nist for me and the likes of Villa, torres, Adriano aren't proven enough. But its oppinions end of the day.

TTH everything you said about him was true BUT other strikers have put up better numbers then him every season which is why no clubs have gone to any trouble to keep hold of him since he left Lazio. AC Milan didn't want to buy him, Inter Milan sold him without a second thought, Chelsea have been over generous with his loan deals often paying 50% of his wages. Now Inter have the chance to buy back the "2nd best striker in the world" lets see quickly they move to take up that option. This season:Ibrahimovic who is deep striker scored 15 goals & got 3 assists in 25 gamesCrespo who is a target man scored 14 goals & got 2 assists in 27 gamesSorry but im not that impressed & all this talk of "Its really hard to score in the Italian league" needs to stop as the prem has proved just a difficult maybe even more so.He's regarded amongst the Elite but not the super Elite & defo not the 2nd best striker in the world, Eto'o holds that spot down firmly.

Ibrahimovic is supposed to be a world class player its about time he started hitting the net he's far from prolfic, Rooneys a deep lying striker but has 20ish goals it happens every now and again. Eto'o i rate highly great all round player but nowhere near as clinical as Crespo or even Henry so i think he'd struggle in Italy, misses a lot of chances. It is hard to be prolific in italy as less chances are created and strikers have to have great movement and composure in front of goal as its a much more technical game than one of power and pace.
