I was watching football Mundial around a year ago they was in Cape Verde where they were talking about Nani and few other players deciding to play for European countries, They were saying they are now being funded properly by Fifa with coaches proper academy and they would be make leaps and bounds showing they have started to make them already impressive stuff

2105 FULL-TIME Burkina Faso 3-1 Central African Republic

A massive twist in the tail there as Burkina Faso book their place in South Africa next year. An injury-time goal brought them back from the edge of defeat to snatch victory right at the last. DR Congo's players must be heartbroken.

So after a dramatic weekend, the line-up for the 29th edition of the Nations Cup looks like this: Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Togo, Tunisia and reigning African champions Zambia.

South Africa qualify automatically as hosts.

So while Cameroonians may well wonder if they have lost their status as an African football powerhouse, the emotions in Cape Verde are running high as the islanders reach their first Nations Cup. A triumphant day for Ethiopia as well as the 1962 African champions qualify for their first tournament in 30 years.

Thanks for joining us - see you in January, and until then - good night.
